The Ragged Victorians at the Blaenavon Ironworks

The Ragged Victorians are a fantastic educational reenactment team who travel the UK, bringing history to life. I was lucky enough to photograph them during a visit to Blaenavon Ironworks. The event was a refreshing change of pace and suited my off‑camera flash setup perfectly. All images were shot with my Leica Q2, Godox X3 trigger, and Godox IT30 Pro mini flash. By positioning the flash well off to the side of the subject, I was able to create dynamic, impactful images—even in very bright conditions.

Thank you, Ragged Victorians — you were terrific!
