The Trip Of A Lifetime - Photography & Hiking In Nepal - With Faith In Families.
In this issue, I take you on a 75-page photographic adventure to one of the most inspiring countries on Earth. I was invited by Swansea charity Faith in Families to document a fundraising expedition — a rare opportunity that also carried a great responsibility. I aimed to help the charity tell a truthful, empathetic story of daily struggle and resilience while recording the physical and emotional challenges faced by 18 non-hikers from Wales as we tackled the 6-day, 4,500‑metre Mardi Himal trail to Dhampus, Nepal.
Every image and story in this zine supports Faith in Families’ work supplying food, clothing and essential items to local families. The charity currently concentrates on households in South Wales and is already planning to expand its support across the UK.
