WW1 Weekend at Pembrey Country Park

WW1 Weekend at Pembrey Country Park brought history to life with costumed re-enactors, authentic equipment, and hands-on displays — and by chance, my son and I stumbled upon it during a bike ride in the park. After the ride, we stopped to explore the living-history scenes, and I was thrilled to have my Leica Q2 and an off‑camera Godox flash with me; the period uniforms, evocative settings, and candid moments made for incredible portrait and event photography, transforming a simple afternoon outing into a memorable shoot. A huge thanks to the display team for allowing me to capture their images — I hope these photos will be of use in their marketing.
