My name is Gareth, I have enjoyed being a professional Wedding, Events and Commercial Photographer for nearly 20 years.

Why I love photographing weddings
I’m very much a people person, I love the energy and excitement of a wedding day! I thrive on meeting new people and helping them enjoy their day, who doesn’t love a laugh and a party? :-)
I’m in my element when you and your guests are all relaxed, having fun and looking your best in your photographs. No fake smiles are Guaranteed!
As a documentary-style wedding photographer, it is my goal to capture each important and fun element for you, without interrupting your day! My superpower as a wedding photographer is being able to find beauty and interest in every scene!
While it’s important to document your day in detail, I feel the best way to capture a wedding is at its most natural, being an observer more so than a conductor! However, when required, we do stage the group and couple shots while ensuring they’re still fun and creative images.

My Style
My relaxed style of ‘documentary wedding photography’ offers the perfect balance of candid storytelling, and the invaluable group pictures captured for all family members to cherish.
I do love black and white photography, I will often photograph the entire day in black & white. I do provide my clients with all of their images in both colour and black and white.
As far as photographic style, I am very much a natural light shooter (no Flash). Because of this, you and most of your guests will barely notice I am taking your picture. The other reason is that I love the tones and depth you get from using natural light to document a scene. A flash is always with me for when needed (ie - dancefloor pics).
Must have shots
Every wedding is different, so it is important to know who will be attending your wedding.
For this reason, I provide a list of possible group shots for you to amend, add to, and return before the wedding day* We can then do our best to capture your most important shots*. I do everything possible to tick off every shot from the list, this is highly influenced by the weather and times set by the venue.
What is Included
It is my responsibility to ‘plan’ the photography for the day. This is of course fully customisable to suit your needs.
A full-day wedding package is offered as standard, beginning with the getting-ready shots. I arrive first thing with the bride’s party to capture the fun and excitement as they get ready. When possible, I head to the groom’s party, before returning to photograph the bride before she leaves for the service.
Unless requested, I will be with you all day until after the first dance.
Slideshow of images
When possible, I will arrange for a slideshow of some of your images for you and your guests to see. This is usually presented in the evening while you enjoy your wedding dinner.
These images are then available for you on the night (if requested), enabling you to share some professional wedding images on your social media straight away.
PRICING
My wedding photography service includes the following as standard unless otherwise requested:
Pre-wedding meeting to discuss your day in detail
Pre-wedding photography session inc ‘Guest signing-board’
Full-day cover, from getting ready to the first dance (unless otherwise agreed)
Minimum of 400 high resolution ‘print ready’ (4000px long edge) images supplied via transfer**
All images are provided in both colour & black & white
Unlimited images are taken on the day
Fully insured with personal & professional liability and indemnity insurance
Slide show of your images in the evening (depending on the duration of cover)
Maximum 30-day turnaround for image delivery.
Proofs are available the same or the next day for sharing online
Basic exposure, colour correction, image sharpening, and cropping are included. Any advanced and specific image manipulation, such as skin retouching or removing distractions available on request at an additional charge, see the wedding contract for more details
Wedding albums/ photo books are available on request, ask for more information
